Solution Delivered

  • Integration of the Contracts Spreadsheet upload capability into IROC for NCR allows for the direct upload of Actual Designated Dispatch Location Points (DDP), including addresses and latitude/longitude coordinates, into the contract resource, significantly improving data accuracy and operational efficiency.

  • Implementation of the Nationally Contracted Resources Functionality within IROC "Type 2 Crew Edition" streamlines operations by eliminating the need for manual synchronization with a secondary system. This enhancement reduces user errors and saves approximately two hours of work each day, significantly improving operational efficiency.  

IMPACT

The integration of this functionality into the IROC system has resulted in significant labor savings. By eliminating the need for manual synchronization and reducing the time required to generate runs, we have achieved substantial improvements in operational efficiency and cost savings.​

IROC will be the NICC's definitive system for managing all nationally contracted Type 2 Crews, aircraft, and equipment, replacing WildNICC and delivering streamlined operations, cost savings, and robust legal compliance for the US Forest Service.​
